School Safety rules in West Bengal
- “School Bus” should be shown on the back and front of the school bus
- “On School Duty” should be shown, if the bus is hired
- Bus should have a FirstAidBox, and a fire extinguisher inside the school bus
- There should be horizontal grills on the school bus windows
- The name and telephone number of the school must be written on the Bus
- School bus doors should be equipped with reliable locks
- Space should be provided under the seats to keep school bags safely
- An attendant should be there inside the school bus
- A parent or a teacher should accompany students to ensure their safety
