School Safety rules in West Bengal

• “School Bus” should be shown on the back and front of the school bus
• “On School Duty” should be shown, if the bus is hired
• Bus should have a First­Aid­Box, and a fire extinguisher inside the school bus
• There should be horizontal grills on the school bus windows
• The name and telephone number of the school must be written on the Bus
• School bus doors should be equipped with reliable locks
• Space should be provided under the seats to keep school bags safely
• An attendant should be there inside the school bus
• A parent or a teacher should accompany students to ensure their safety
