School Bus Safety Rules of Dadra and Nagar Haveli
- The word “School Bus” should be displayed on the front and back of the bus
- If the bus is a hired one, “On School Duty” should be shown clearly on the bus
- Every school bus should have a first aid box compulsorily
- Horizontal grills should be fitted in every school bus windows for better student safety
- There should be a fire extinguisher in a school bus
- The name of the school and their telephone number should be clearly indicated on the bus
- School bus doors should be attached with a strong lock
- A separate space should be provided under the seats to keep belongings of students safely
- There should be an attendant in every school bus
- A parent, guardian, or a teacher can accompany students to ensure safety norms
