RTO Decides to Remove Speed Breakers as part of Road Safety Campaign

As part of road safety campaign, the Nashik RTO decides to remove speed breakers from vehicles. Bharat Kalaskar, Deputy regional transport officer, said that their main goal is to provide road safety awareness for the safety campaign from Jan 9 to 23. Also, they would like to concentrate more on issues that needs immediate action.

Kalaskar added that they are planning to remove speed breakers which are not installed as per the rules. He claims that the speed of vehicles has definitely come down due to the speed breakers but it is causing a real trouble to two wheelers. And the issues of overcrowded vehicles will be seriously considered.

The RTO officials said that school bus safety is one of their top concerns. And they plan to give awareness to school authorities and drivers regarding the safety measures.
